Career Services for Alumni
The Career Development Center welcomes alumni and is happy to provide assistance and resources to help you steer in the right direction whether you choose to explore other job opportunities or make a career change.
Connect to Resources
Alumni can access services and resources that can help achieve your career goals. The Career Development Center can help you plan a strategy for making your next move.
Strategy Sessions
If you've graduated within the past five years and are interested in finding a job, exploring new
career paths or applying to graduate school, we can help. Resources are available to develop
strategies and tools to secure a desired career. We can help you tailor your résumé and cover letter, provide interviewing and networking tips and offer you opportunity to practice your interview
skills
Online Job Portal - Handshake
Access to Handshake, RIC’s online job portal continues from your student account. When
organizations reach out to the college to hire RIC students and graduates or seek candidates with
experience, we want them to find you! Ensure that your account is active and up to date. Learn about opportunities once they are posted on Handshake.
Events and Programming
You are invited to participate in job & internship fairs as well as other career programming. You
will be alerted to upcoming events through your account on Handshake. The Career Development
Center works hard to develop programming designed to connect RIC students and graduates to
employers – take advantage of these opportunities! Visit the Career Development Center webpage
or Handshake to see what is planned.
